FAQ

How long do your real estate shoots take?

It depends on the size of the home, but generally plan for the photography session to take around two hours.
Why does it take so long? Rather than quickly run through your listing with the standard wide pictures of each room, I take time to understand the staging and find moments that will help keep eyes on your listing photos. A good rule of thumb is to plan for about an hour of photography time for each 1,000 square feet.

Do I have to meet you at the listing?

No, you can simply provide your CBS number and I can access the home using my Supra Active Key. If the home has a lock box installed you may also provide that code for access. Of course, you are also always welcome to meet me at the home and hang out during the photo shoot.

When is payment due?

50% deposit before the shoot date to secure the date + time.
Invoice is sent along with the delivery of final images. The download option is enabled once payment has been received, until then you can preview the images only.
Invoices are due on receipt. 30 days is classed as past due.

When will I receive my listing pictures to go live?

Your edited real estate images will be delivered within 3 days after the photoshoot, so please book your dates accordingly. Agents usually know when they want to be live on the MLS by.

How will I receive my listing images

I deliver Web + MLS resolution sized listing images through my website.
You will receive an email/text with the link to your album, along with any passwords on your album.

What kind of gear do you use?

Camera bodies: Sony A7iii + Sony A6400.
Wide Lenses: Rokinon 14mm, Tamron 17-28mm
Telephoto Lenses: Sony 50mm, Samyang 85mm
Zoom/Sports Lenses: Sony 24-240mm, Sony 200-600mm
Godox AD200 Flash
Tripod/Monopod/Light stands

Do you travel outside of Los Angeles to take on other projects?

Yes, I am available to travel worldwide for your photography projects. I have shot destination weddings in Mexico, soccer tournaments in Florida for Paris Saint Germain, and Airbnbs around the USA.
Travel expenses are billed at cost to the client or to be purchased by the client.

Is there a fee for travel?

A travel fee is not charged for any location within 20 miles (one way) of my studio in Hollywood. An additional fee of 60 cents per mile applies for distances over 50 miles round trip to help defray the cost of gas and time spent driving to and from the shoot location.

Will there be a second shooter?

Depends on the remit of the job I'm being hired for. Sometimes a second shooter is necessary.
For example, if you want me to provide video and photography or direct the shoot.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes I do. Contact me to see my destination wedding portfolio.

Who owns the rights to the listing images?

Yes, I retain the copyrights as is standard practice in the photography industry. You purchase a a single use, non-transferable, non-exclusive image license. For real estate agents that image license is good for the duration of your listing and expires once the listing is sold, canceled or reassigned to another agent. For all others the license does not expire. This is a non-transferable license, meaning you, as the licensee, may not sell, give or loan the photos to any other party. You do have wide leverage to use them for your marketing and promotional needs however. This license is also non-exclusive, meaning the copyright holder may sell multiple licenses for the same images.
